So you finally have your website up and running and it’s bringing in a few dollars. What you might not know is whether somebody else is profiting from your website without your approval or awareness. This is stealing - plain and simple.

It takes some detective work to determine whether another site is framing your site and stealing your content. Framing is a method to place content from another webpage “inside” of your content. Web-surfers are unaware they are viewing content from two different sources.

What’s worse, is that they can strip out your AdSense ads, and place their own in a different frame!

It takes some digging through your website’s access logs to detect this, and not all website owners have the necessary know-how or even access to the logs.

Here is a short little javascript to help alleviate the problem somewhat. You have to put it in your webpages between the HEAD tags. Once in place, every time your webpage is opened, it will “take over” any frames it is inside and display as you had intended it.
